#2 Thanks for the pictures!

Thanks for the pictures! Would love to read a little bit on the blog as to what the kids are doing at a particular time - What talks are going on and the theme. We are praying for the conference the entire weekend - and it helps to know what to pray for - when. When adoration begins, or confessions starts... We want to be your prayer team from home! Thanks!

Submitted by Alma Rucker (not verified) on July 19 / 11:32 am.

My husband and I went as chaperones 3 years ago with our oldest teens. Now our third child, Sara, is there and what a blessing it has been to see all that is going on via this site. Steubenville is absolutely the most amazing praise experience for young people and we praise and thank God for all you guys do for our precious children.

Great pics. I can't wait until streaming video can be posted on this site. I'd love to hear what Kelly Pease and Brian K have to say. I guess that's why people spend the money to show up. Maybe next year. Wonderful job Paul, Gretchen and Dominic!

#6 All I have to say was

Submitted by Josh (not verified) on July 14 / 4:45 am.

All I have to say was AMAZING..this is my second steubenville and have had some pretty religiously moving things happen to me before, but this weekend blew those out of the park. I felt such a closeness and oneness with god and a connection with him. My spirits where completely lifted and I am forever changed by this weekend. It has inspired me to throw away everything in my of HIM and to quit many bad habits. Who ever reads these to determine what to do different to make it better, my answer is NOTHING....its already amazing....and to all who attended...WE FREEEEEEE!!!!!.....OH OH OOOOOH UHOUHO!!!!!!

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on July 13 / 12:51 pm.

This past weekend was my first ever Steubenville Youth Conference- and it was AMAZING!!!!! I especially loved adoration both days. It felt so amazing to be able to feel God's love within me and it was so powerful to see people around me with their arms raised high to Christ. This weekend has made a huge impact on my faith life, and hopefully my everyday life, too. The joyful feeling that we all had on Saturday night (when we were "drunk on the Holy Spirit") has not yet left me and I am hoping that it won't, but instead grow stronger. For the first time this weekend I realized that everything i had been searching for in my relationships with others, I could find in the God, and only God, because He is ABOVE ALL! Thank you SO much to all of the volunteers, youth leaders, musicains, Roseanne Twellman, and everyone else who made this weekend the best of my life! Can't wait until next year :)

I just got back and the weekend was amazing. This is my second Steubenville conference and it was so much more powerful. This conference has definitely changed my life for the better, even if I am still confused by what vocation God wants for me but I am open to His decision. Over all I am now at peace with the confusion that God has put in my life.

Submitted by Kris (not verified) on July 12 / 1:19 pm.

Thank you for the tweets, pictures and videos of the conference. I LOVED getting a glimpse of what my daugher was experiencing. Now I only hope I get more than a "It was good." when asked about the weekend.

Thank you to all of the leaders who helped shape my child's spiritual growth. As her parents, your a hard act to follow! I pray we are up for the challenge.

#11 This is our 8th consecutive

Submitted by Catherine Foster (not verified) on July 11 / 9:12 pm.

This is our 8th consecutive year in sending one of our teens to the Mid-America Steubenville Conference. We've known for years what a tremendous blessing the conference has been in their lives so it's been awesome to be able to "peek in" from home throughout the weekend and get an idea of where the teens are at and watch their spirits open up to the many gifts, graces, and blessings our Lord Jesus wants to give each one of them. Thank you so much for all the hard work and effort OYM has put into this endeavor to make it happen. May He bless you all abundantly for the GREAT JOB you are doing!!
